Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), an international comparative study directed by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement. PIRLS assesses and compares the reading performance of pupils in their fourth year of formal schooling across participating countries.

AI is merely a set of human-created algorithms that aim to mimic some human thought processes, such as decision making."
Vision, visual perception and auditory perception form the foundation on which reading and other academic skills are built. Thus it is important for Grade R practitioners to have an understanding of how children develop these capacities.
