Purpose
This position will support the delivery of the PSET CLOUD Platform solution, reporting to the Technology Lead. The incumbent will assist in creating and executing plans, and schedules, and will work cross-functionally and collaborate at all levels of assigned projects to ensure project success.
Description
Perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, coordinate user acceptance testing, and develop optimisation strategies for integration processes between PSET CLOUD and Programme Phetogo.
Role
● Facilitate the requirement gathering process to identify business requirements and needs.
● Produce business requirements documents (BRD) that detail the proposed solutions and communicates designs across internal PSET CLOUD teams and partners.
● Produces functional specifications (as well as any other documentation needed) to document scope and requirements to the development team.
● Collaborates with system developers, clients, and user focus groups to ensure strong communication and feedback loops to inform continual system improvement.
● Understands the business strategy and objectives and develop business cases to decompose strategy for the PSET CLOUD programme.
● Develop UAT test cases, streamline, and actively participates in user acceptance testing procedures and scripts in areas of assigned focus and responsibility.
● Research and recommend systems and technologies.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field with solid academic credentials.
● Minimum 3-year degree in a relevant discipline and/or Diploma in Business Analysis.
● Working towards Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent aligned to BABOK, advantageous
● Agile Certification will be an advantage.
● Must have a South African ID or a valid work permit
Experience
● Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in solution development lifecycle projects/programmes.
● Minimum 3 years of experience working in software or systems development.
● Hands-on professional experience in requirements analysis and prototyping.
● Proven experience in facilitating white-boarding sessions with cross-functional teams and working on large-scale technology projects.
● Experience in an education and training environment is advantageous
● Understanding of agile methodologies.
● Experience working in an Agile environment will be an advantage.
● A track record of completed analysis engagements.
● Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
● Experience in integrating computer programs. For example, Oracle, SQL Server, and Java
● Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
● Project management experience in medium to large scale IT projects
