Researchers Bootcamp leverages expertise of Peer Reviewers

Peer reviewers part of JET Education Services Researchers Bootcamp #OpenupYourThinking
JET Education Services launched an ambitious Researchers Bootcamp project called #OpenupYourThinking, which is taking place from 30 March to 17 April 2020, affording young researchers an opportunity to make sense of what is happening around the COVID-19 health pandemic.

The Bootcamp is divided into 9 thematic areas, each with a  team made up of a lead researcher, peer reviewers, and other selected researchers. Peer reviewers are helping validate research, establish a method by which it can be evaluated, and increase networking possibilities within research communities across the 9 themes. They are also refereeing the process of the Bootcamp’s scholarly work by dropping into online meetings with the thematic leaders and their teams, commenting on and reviewing key outputs and providing guidance to the thematic leaders.

Our peer reviewers, who are giving freely of their time, are all highly regarded authorities in their particular fields of practice and in the  education sector in South Africa and/or internationally. We are grateful to have the benefit of their expertise to assist us as we strive to develop research products of a high quality in this important project.
