After serving seven fulfilling and dedicated years at JET, most recently as the Executive Manager for the Research and Data Ecosystems Division, Kelly Shiohira will be leaving JET at the end of February 2024 as she takes up a new position in the United States as the director of the Global Science of Learning Education Network.
Kelly has contributed significantly to JET’s growth during her tenure and her legacy will be one of hard work, excellent research, a growing local and international presence for JET, and the mentoring of many young and upcoming staff members. As noted by one of her colleagues, Kelly is also the first JETsetter who has worked for JET across no less than three different continents as hybrid working options became more feasible in recent years.
Kelly leaves a capable team that will continue in her footsteps as the work of JET continues. We wish her well in this new phase of her life. Make us proud Kelly.
