Phineas Mobayi, JET Platinum Business Manager, oversees five crucial business units within Anglo-American South Africa (AASA) education programme: Mototolo (Limpopo Province, Sekhukhune East District); Polokwane (Limpopo, Capricorn South), Mogalakwena (Limpopo, Mogalakwena District), Rustenburg (North West: Bojanala District) and Amandelbult (Moses Kotane under Bojanala District). Phineas is passionate about human development, especially the identification, prioritisation and meeting of needs, as well as programmes that are focused on addressing poverty, unemployment and inequality. At the heart of Phineas's work lies the AASA Education Programme, an initiative of the Anglo-American Sustainability Strategy which focuses on early childhood learning and a whole school development (WSD) approach to facilitate a significant positive impact on the educational outcomes of children in schools local to the Anglo-American operations in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and the Northern Cape.
