Mike Rosholt, visionary business leader and apartheid critic and the founder of JET, passed away last week at the age of 97. Mike was key in setting up JET during the transition to democracy and was Chairman of the Joint Education Trust from its establishment in 1992 until the Trust was wound up in 2001 and JET Education Services was born. He remained an active member of JET's Board until his retirement in 2011. We will always be indebted to Mike Rosholt for his vision and the passion that drove him to work for better education for the disadvantaged sections of the South African population. We extend condolences to his family.
