JET Education Services joins Lefa AI as a learning partner

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already entering classrooms, raising new questions for education systems everywhere. JET Education Services joined Lefa AI: Making Sense of AI in South African Basic Education as a Learning Partner.  

Led by Human Studios, with support from UNICEF South Africa and DG Murray Trust, Lefa AI is a ten-month national initiative bringing together organisations across the education ecosystem to explore what AI means for teaching, learning, and the future of basic education in South Africa.

Understanding the impact of AI on teaching and learning aligns closely with our mission to improve education through innovation, evidence and collaboration. We look forward to contributing to and learning from the conversations that will shape the future of AI in South African basic education.

Over the coming months, Lefa AI will bring together research, national conversations, and insights from across the sector to ask: How do we respond to AI in a way that strengthens our education system, rather than deepening existing gaps?
