CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP AT JET EDUCATION SERVICES
Dr Nick Taylor, CEO of Jet Education Services for the past 16 years, is to step down on 1 October 2009. He will be replaced by Programme Director Godwin Khosa.
Khosa (36), a former teacher, researcher and manager of the Khanyisa
Education Support Programme, one of the country’s most successful
school development initiatives, joined JET in 2003. He was promoted to
Programme Director in 2007.
“I am delighted that Nick has agreed to stay on at JET as our first
Research Fellow, continuing with the work which has made him a
household name in education circles,” said Khosa.
JET Chairman Jeremy Ractliffe said: “Godwin has been knocking on the
CEO’s door for some time and is the perfect choice to take JET to the
next level. The change of leadership will release Nick from his
management responsibilities and allow him to focus on his passion for
educational research and evaluation.”
