The three-day event was attended by 50 participants, including representatives from seven regional UNEVOC Centres from South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, and Botswana, as well as one Asian UNEVOC Centre (KRIVET), and delegates from UNESCO, GIZ, and the ILO. The opening address was delivered by H.E. Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, Minister of Education and Skills Development in Botswana. UNESCO-UNEVOC was represented by Ms Imke Kottmann, Programme Expert.

The JET UNEVOC Centre was represented by Kedibone Boka, Acting Executive Manager Youth and Community Involvement Division and Binaben Akoobhai, Specialist Manager: Institutional Planning & Monitoring & EMIS.
