Task Team 4: Examinations
Team-specific tasks are itemised below:
- Identify the weaknesses which resulted in delayed release of examination results and recommend changes to processes at institutional, provincial and national level.
- Recommend appropriate coordination mechanisms to ensure speedy identification of missing marks and procedures for these to be collated.
- Define key processes and set key dates, e.g. for supplementary exams and for the national release of results.
- Consider alternatives to national examinations and assessment.
- Recommend time frames for any policy and legislative changes.
- Anticipate future difficulties and propose solutions.
