Anthony Gewer, Executive Manager, YCD

 
Anthony has a Doctoral degree in education policy with a specific focus on post-school transitions and the role of technical vocational education and training (TVET).

Prior to joining JET, Anthony worked as a Senior Manager at the National Business Initiative responsible for research and strategy in both schooling and TVET.During this time, Anthony was instrumental in a strategy to enhance investment in school development and post-school skills training and continues to pursue this agenda in his current role.

He has a particular interest in strategies that enhance youth employability. Anthony has worked extensively with national and provincial departments and donors as a research, planning and evaluation consultant working both with vocational colleges and schools.
