Kedibone Boka, Specialist Manager: Community Development

Kedibone has a B.A Pedagogics; a B.Ed-Hons;and an M.Ed.

Her work has centred on the development of education among rural and disadvantaged groups. She has used her experience in teacher training and skills development to manage education projects for local and international organisations. The projects she has been involved in were all aimed at the betterment of education through the engagement of different stakeholders and communities of interest.

Kedibone has performed a variety of functions, ranging from project management, project coordination and training management to lecturing on teacher development in education institutions.

Her interest is in teacher efficacy in mediating non- academic variables such as motivation, locus of control, self-efficacy and parental involvement to achieve student success.

Responsibilities: To design and implement community focussed interventions; to  facilitate training on stakeholder mobilisation and parent participation in schools.
