Cynthia Moeng, Project Manager, Youth & Community Development

Cynthia has a  Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and a Diploma in Project Management.

She has experience in community development work, project co-ordination and facilitation in the fields of Social Work, Youth Programmes and Early Childhood Development. She has also worked extensively in the development of training material, employee assistance programmes (EAP) and trauma counseling and is a registered assessor with the ETDP SETA. Projects for which she held the primary responsibility include the Ford Motor Company Social Plan Project, the AECI, SASSETA Social Plan Project, the Mbizana Municipality Support Project, the Bankseta Learnership and Computershare Projects. She is involved in manageing a systemic school improvement project in the North West Province and a needs analysis study of the Govan Mbeki Local Municipality.

Currently, Cynthia is in her final year of study for a Masters of Management Degree in the field Public and Development Management with the Wits School of Management.
 

Responsibilities: Facilitation, strategic planning and organising, training and supervision of fieldworkers, management and co-ordination of projects budgets, administration, research, report writing and material development.
