Godwin Khosa, CEO

Godwin has a Master of Management in Public & Development Management, a Post-graduate Diploma in Public Policy Development & Administration, B.A. Hons Geography and B.A. Education. 

He has been the Chief Executive Officer of JET Education Services since October 2009. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he held the position of JET Programme Director and also served as team leader on a 7 year education transformation programme in the Limpopo province.

Godwin worked as a research manager at the Human Science Research Council of South Africa (2001-2003). During this period he carried out a range of research activities in education governance, management and quality assurance. Amongst others, he managed the evaluation of a multi-year school development project and an evaluation of the Seychelles School Improvement Programme.

Prior to joining the HSRC, he served as a policy analyst and a senior manager at the Centre for Education Policy Development where he was engaged in numerous large scale policy development and monitoring projects. Godwin started his career as a high school teacher.
 

Responsibilities: Godwin oversees the strategic management of the organisation and provides technical assistance to projects and clients in the areas of education management and governance, systems evaluation, school improvement and policy analysis.
